Rosa Cherry Parfait™ (Grandiflora Rose)

Rose Cherry Parfait™, Rosa Jubilé du Prince de Monaco, Rosa Fire & Ice, Rosa Blumenstadt Tulln, Rosa Saint Petersburg Testimonial, Rosa 'Meisponge' PP12802, Grandiflora Roses, Shrub Roses

Free-flowering, Rosa Cherry Parfait™ is an exquisite Grandiflora rose with abundant clusters of large, 4 in. across (10 cm), full (35-40 petals), cupped-to-flat, white flowers adorned with vermilion edges. Opening from elegant pointed buds, the blossoms have a mild, sweet fragrance and bloom almost continuously from spring to fall. The bicolor flowers stand out against the lush foliage of dark green leaves. A compact, bushy, nicely rounded shrub rose that is heat tolerant and disease resistant. Perfect for beds, borders, or as a flowering hedge.

  • 2003 All-America Rose Selection - the most prestigious rose award in the USA.
  • Grows up to 4-5 ft. tall and wide (120-150 cm).
  • An excellent choice for beds, borders, flowering hedges, or containers. Stunning when mass-planted. Excellent cut flowers.
  • Best grown in full sun, in rich, fertile with adequate moisture, well-drained soils.
  • Propagate by hardwood cuttings in autumn or by chip budding in summer.
  • Spring Pruning: Remove old canes and dead or diseased wood and cut back canes that cross. In warmer climates, cut back the remaining canes by about one-third. In colder areas, you'll probably find you'll have to prune a little more than that
  • Bred by Alain Meilland (1940-....) (France, 2000). Bred by Michèle Meilland Richardier (France, before 2000).
