One of the finest ramblers, award-winning Rosa ‘Felicite Perpetue’ features graceful, relatively thornless, red-green stems clothed in shiny, neat, semi-evergreen foliage. In late spring or early summer, large clusters of strongly scented, rosette-like, creamy-white, or blush-pink flowers, packed with layers of petals (over 40 petals), are produced in great quantities. Reliable and disease resistant, this vigorous rambling rose is ideal for training on a wall or fence and suitable for climbing into trees. An excellent rose for a north-facing site.

  • Winner of the prestigious Award of Garden Merit of the Royal Horticultural Society
  • Blooms overwhelmingly once in midsummer.
  • Grows up to 15-20 ft. tall (4-6 m) and 10-12 ft. wide (3-4 m).
  • Best grown in full sun in rich, fertile, moist, well-drained soils. Tolerates poor soil, shade, and a north-facing site. Apply a balanced fertilizer and mulch in late winter or early spring for best flowering.
  • Propagate by hardwood cuttings in autumn or by chip budding in summer
  • Bred by Antoine A. Jacques in 1827.
