Dianthus ‘Frosty Fire’ (Pink) is an eye-catching evergreen perennial with masses of fragrant, fiery red, double flowers, 1 in. across (2.5 cm). Blooming in early summer and early fall, the vivid blossoms rise on short, stout stems above a low cushion of grassy, icy blue-green leaves. Easy to grow, and perfect for adding a splash of color in the garden, this Garden Pink is an excellent addition to the sunny rock garden, fabulous in containers and a cheerful edger at the front of the border.
