Self-cleaning and very disease resistant, Rosa Oso Easy® Mango Salsa is a mounding shrub rose boasting a profusion of unique orange-pink flowers, with shades ranging from ruby-red grapefruit to summer sunsets. The blossoms stand out against the healthy, glossy dark green foliage. Blooming continuously from summer to frost, the showy flowers entice passing butterflies to use them as perfect landing pads. Easy to grow, low maintenance, and cold-hardy, this shrub rose brings cheerful color to the garden or landscape. Perfect for mixed borders and beds, as a flowering groundcover, or for banks and slopes.

  • Grows up to 1-3 ft. tall (30-90 cm) and 2-4 ft. wide (60-120 cm).
  • Best grown in full sun in fertile, humus-rich, moist but well-drained soil. For best flowering apply a balanced fertilizer and mulch in late winter or early spring and a balanced fertilizer again in early summer. Salt tolerant.
  • An excellent choice for beds and borders, banks and slopes, city gardens, coastal gardens, cottage gardens, or as a colorful groundcover.
  • Keep an eye out for aphids, rose leafhoppers, scale insects, caterpillars, large rose sawflies, rose leaf-rolling sawflies, black spots, rose rust, and rose powdery mildew.
  • Pruning is generally not needed, but this shrub may be shaped in spring. It does not need spraying.
  • Propagate by hardwood cuttings in autumn or by chip budding in summer.
