Blooming its heart out, Rose ‘Flower Carpet Coral’ is an impressive groundcover rose which produces abundant clusters of coral-pink flowers, 2 in. wide (5cm), adorned with antique-gold stamens. Up to 60 flowers and developing buds can be produced on a single stem and a mature plant can produce up to 2,000 roses during the season (!). The fresh and iridescent blossoms do not fade in the sun. They are borne atop a compact and dense bush of rich glossy dark green foliage that is noted for its strong disease resistance.
Flower Carpet Coral belongs to the Flower Carpet Roses Series which are known for their long bloom seasons, bright colors, profuse flowering, and natural resistance to leaf diseases that can plague roses, such as black spot and mildew. These roses also enjoy improved heat and humidity tolerance.
