Rosa 'Ghislaine de Feligonde' (Rambling Rose)

Rose 'Ghislaine de Feligonde', Rambler Roses, Hybrid Multiflora Roses, Hybrid Musk Roses

An outstanding repeat flowering rose, Rosa 'Ghislaine de Feligonde' is a short rambler with generous clusters of small, warm apricot, double flowers, 1.5 in. across (4 cm). Pleasantly scented, the blooms (17-25 petals) open to reveal their golden stamens and gradually fade to buff as they mature. Blooming from early summer to fall, this rambling rose features thornless stems clothed in healthy, light green foliage. It produces decorative hips in the fall that attract birds. Not too vigorous, Rose 'Ghislaine de Feligonde' is perfect for small gardens. Its stiff growth habit makes it perfect for growing against a trellis or wall or simply as a shrub. Very good disease resistance.

  • Winner of the prestigious Award of Garden Merit of the Royal Horticultural Society
  • Grows up to 6-10 ft. tall and wide (180-300 cm).
  • Best grown in full sun, in rich, fertile, moist, well-drained soils. For best flowering apply a balanced fertilizer and mulch in late winter or early spring.
  • Propagate by hardwood cuttings in autumn or by chip budding in summer.
  • Bred by Eugène Turbat & Compagnie in 1916.
