Rose 'Warm Welcome', Rosa 'Chewizz', Climbing rose 'Warm Welcome', Miniature Climbing Roses
Blooming continuously through the season, award-winning Rosa 'Warm Welcome' is a miniature climber with profuse sprays of slightly fragrant, semi-double (9 petals), orange flowers with hints of gold at the base of their petals. Borne on red-purple stems, the glowing blooms stand out against the healthy foliage of purple-tinted, dark green leaves. This patio climbing rose is perfect for small gardens, ideal for narrow borders, pillars, walls or containers. Very good disease resistance
- Winner of the prestigious Award of Garden Merit of the Royal Horticultural Society
- Grows up to 6 feet tall (180 cm) and 2-3 ft. wide (60-90 cm).
- Best grown in full sun, in rich, fertile, moist, well-drained soils. For best flowering apply a balanced fertilizer and mulch in late winter or early spring and a balanced fertilizer again in early summer
- Propagate by hardwood cuttings in autumn or by chip budding in summer
- Bred by Christopher H. Warner in 1992.
