Foam Flower 'Appalachian Trail'
Vigorous, Tiarella ‘Appalachian Trail’ (Foam Flower) is a spreading herbaceous perennial forming a mat of heart-shaped, fresh green leaves adorned with deep burgundy variegation along the veins. In mid to late spring, short wands of white flowers are borne above the foliage. Unlike many Tiarella selections, this variety has a trailing habit, making it particularly useful as a groundcover for shady, moist areas. Good for hanging baskets too. Evergreen in mild winter climates.
