Wherry's Foam Flower, Tiarella collina, Tiarella cordifolia var. collina
Tiarella wherryi (Wherry’s Foam Flower) is a compact herbaceous perennial forming a lush clump of heart-shaped, lobed, green leaves adorned with reddish or purplish veins. Evergreen in mild winter climates, the foliage turns bronze in the colder months. In late spring, short wands of small, white or pinkish flowers are borne above the foliage. Attractive and ornamental, Wherry’s Foam Flower is a great choice as a woodland edging plant or as a groundcover.
