Rosa 'Albertine' (Rambling Rose)

Rose 'Albertine', Rambling Rose 'Albertine', Rambler Roses

A vigorous rambler with good disease resistance, award-winning Rosa 'Albertine' produces abundant clusters of fragrant, cup-shaped, fully double flowers, 3.5 in. wide (9 cm), starting as reddish-salmon buds and opening to large copper-pink blossoms. Ideal as free-blooming climber for walls, arbors, fences or other garden structures.
  • Highly popular, this lovely Rose won many prestigious awards including the Award of Garden Merit of the Royal Horticultural Society
  • Best grown in full sun, in rich, fertile with adequate moisture, well-drained soils.
  • Susceptible to mildew in a dry site
  • Bred by Barbier Freres & Compagnie in France in 1921.
