A vigorous rambler with good disease resistance, award-winning Rosa ‘Albertine’ produces abundant clusters of fragrant, cup-shaped, fully double flowers, 3.5 in. wide (9 cm), starting as reddish-salmon buds and opening to large copper-pink blossoms. They are perfectly displayed on purple-flushed arching stems against glossy dark green foliage. Very free flowering, ‘Albertine’ has a strong and rich fragrance.

  • Blooms in one single flush in spring or summer
  • Grows up to 15 feet tall (450 cm) and spreads 10 feet wide (300 cm). An excellent choice for beds and borders or even containers. Plant it where you can enjoy its perfume daily: near a doorway, along a path, near your patio or deck. Excellent cut flowers. Ideal as a free-blooming climber for walls, arbors, fences, or other garden structures.
  • Highly popular, this lovely Rose won many prestigious awards, including the Award of Garden Merit of the Royal Horticultural Society.
  • Best grown in full sun in rich, fertile with adequate moisture, well-drained soils.
  • Susceptible to mildew in a dry site
  • Bred by Barbier Freres & Compagnie in France in 1921.
