Armeria
Delightful and generally accommodating, Armeria (Thrifts) are evergreen perennials forming tufts or mats of strap-shaped or linear leaves, with sweet little ball-shaped flowerheads perched atop slender stalks above the foliage. They bloom profusely in mid to late spring, and then sporadically rebloom throughout the summer. Even when not in bloom, the evergreen foliage earns them a place along the edges of pathways, in borders, rock gardens or containers. A charming little plant that is ridiculously easy to grow, drought tolerant and deer resistant.
