Calycanthus
Prized for the fragrance and beauty of its flowers, Calycanthus is a small genus of deciduous shrubs adorned with a lush foliage of simple, aromatic leaves, turning butter-yellow in the fall. The blossoms appear at the ends of current’s season growth and bloom in mid-late spring or summer depending on geographic areas. These flowering shrubs are virtually pest and disease free and are perfect in a naturalistic garden.
