Sorbus
Among the most magnificent trees for fruit display, Sorbus (Rowan) can be deciduous trees or shrubs with finely cut leaves and showy flower clusters. The blossoms give way to red, orange, brown, white or yellow fruit in fall, which persist long after the leaves have fallen. Some Sorbus varieties enjoy good fall color. Fast-growing and long-lived, Mountain Ashes can grow in a variety of soils and situations.
