Plantain Lily 'Catherine', Catherine Hosta
Hosta ‘Catherine’ (Plantain Lily) is an upright, clump-forming perennial forming a neat and compact mound of dusky blue-green, heart-shaped leaves with a chartreuse central splash that becomes creamier with age. Bell-shaped, pale lavender blooms appear on upright spikes in late summer. This hosta cultivar is an ideal choice for growing in a container on the patio and is also suited to growing in the perennial border.
