Noted for its pretty bicolor flowers, Salvia ‘Little Kiss’ is a charming, upright perennial with a profusion of eye-catching, brilliant lipstick red and white flowers from spring to frost. Borne in loose terminal racemes, the blossoms are of great aesthetic appeal in borders or containers and attract scores of butterflies, hummingbirds and beneficial insects. Disease resistant with a long-lasting flowering season, this compact Salvia microphylla selection has low water needs and is heat and drought tolerant. Excellent cut flowers!

  • Grows up to 18 in. tall and wide (45 cm).
  • Performs best in full sun, in moderately fertile, dry to moist, well-drained soils. Best flower production in full sun but can tolerate light partial shade. Drought tolerant once established.
  • Low maintenance, this Salvia is perfect for beds and borders, and is well suited to coastal gardens, cottage gardens or containers.
  • No serious pest or disease issues. Deer resistant
  • Propagate by basal cuttings or softwood cuttings in spring or early summer or semi-hardwood cuttings in late summer or autumn with bottom heat
