Sedum ‘Firecracker’ (SunSparkler Series)

Noted for its rich burgundy-red color all season long, Sedum ‘Firecracker’ (Stonecrop) is a mat-forming perennial with an abundance of fleshy mint-green leaves that turn burgundy red. Very dense and well-branched, this sedum selection does not split open in summer and creates a colorful, weed-suppressing ground cover when planted en masse. Sitting atop short, upright stems, clusters of small, bright pink, starry flowers appear in late summer to early fall. A great variety for rockeries, gravel gardens and containers. Drought-tolerant, ‘Firecracker’ is evergreen in mild climates.
