Malva (Mallow)
Blooming all summer long, Malva (Mallows) can be annuals, biennials or perennials. Usually tall, they boast attractive 5-petalled, open funnel-shaped flowers in the leaf axils along the stems. Their dark, deeply divided foliage provides a flattering backdrop for the colorful flowers. Easy to grow, they are virtually pest and disease free and often self-seed happily in the garden, providing years of blooms. Mallows are perfect for cottage or wildflower gardens.
