Philadelphus (Mock Orange)
Thriving on neglect, Philadelphus (Mock Orange) are deciduous shrubs boasting usually fragrant, single or fully double, cream or white flowers in late spring or early summer. Some varieties fill the air with their heady, fruity fragrance of orange blossom. Generally large and vigorous, Mock Orange shrubs are not fussy about soils and withstand heavy clay or lighter soils, acid or high pH. Wonderful in borders.
