Zephyranthes (Rain Lily)
Creating a glorious display, Zephyranthes (Rain Lilies) can be deciduous or evergreen bulbous perennials, with narrow leaves and funnel-shaped or crocus-like flowers. Most Rain Lilies bloom in spring and summer, however Z. candida and Z. rosea flower in late summer and fall. Brightening up the garden for weeks, they look pretty in rock gardens, at the front of borders or in containers. Native to southern North America, Central America, and South America, they prefer moist conditions in full sun or partial shade.
