Heucherella (Foaming Bells)
x Heucherella (Foamy Bells) is a cross between two members of the Saxifrage family, Heuchera (Coral Bells) and Tiarella (Foam Flowers). Increasingly popular, Heucherellas combine some traits of their two parents: attractive foliage, abundant flowers. Most plants are evergreen with the foliage held close to the ground and pink or white flowers held in open sprays above the foliage. Foamy Bells are indispensable elements of the shade garden. They are great additions to mixed borders, look terrific near pathways and amongst the ferns and woodlanders. They are equally at home in rock gardens and are wonderful in containers, providing the services of both spillers and fillers.
