Pulmonaria - Lungworts

Hardy and indispensable in the garden, Pulmonaria (Lungwort) can be herbaceous or semi-evergreen rhizomatous perennials with attractive clusters of funnel-shaped, blue, pink or purple flowers in late winter or early spring. Equally striking is their foliage of strikingly patterned leaves, which remains attractive throughout the entire growing season if cut back after blooming. Low care, deer resistant, Lungworts are long-interest plants that are ideal for shaded gardens or pathways, beneath roses and other deciduous shrubs.
