Speedwells come in a rich variety of sizes, from low-spreading speedwells such as Veronica prostrata which grows to 10 inches tall to upright Veronica spicata whose brightly colored flower spikes reach 3 ft. in height. Speedwells thrive in full sun and moist, well-drained soil and are butterfly friendly.
