Hibiscus
Hibiscus can be deciduous or evergreen shrubs, trees, annuals or perennials. Blooming over a long season, they are divided into Hardy Hibiscus, Rose of Sharon, Tropical Hibiscus and the species of Hibiscus. Remarkably easy to grow, they flower with very little attention and produce magnificent, trumpet-shaped flowers, some as big as 12 in. wide (30 cm)! Attractive to butterflies and hummingbirds, they create a big splash of color in the landscape or containers.
