Centerton One Hemerocallis, Daylily 'Centerton One', Day Lily 'Centerton One', Centerton One Daylily, Hemerocallis EARLYBIRD ORIOLE™, Early Season Daylilies, Reblooming Daylilies
Hemerocallis ‘Centerton One’ (Daylily) is a compact perennial boasting a profusion of large, ruffled pumpkin orange flowers, 5 in. across (13 cm), adorned with a deeper orange halo and veining above a yellow to olive green throat. Blooming in early summer, and again later in the season, the attractive blossoms are held neatly above a compact mound of arching, linear leaves. Each flower typically lasts no more than 24 hours (thus the common name ‘Daylily’), opening up in the morning and withering during the forthcoming night, possibly replaced by another one on the same scape (flower stalk) the next day. This early season diploid daylily is dormant (deciduous). Excellent for mass plantings, erosion control, and perennial borders.
