Hemerocallis ‘Strawberry Candy’ (Reblooming Daylily)

Among the most popular reblooming Daylilies, multiple award-winner Hemerocallis ‘Strawberry Candy’ ranks very high! This Daylily enjoys profuse blooms of bright coral-pink flowers with red picotee margins and strawberry-red marks around pale yellow throats, over an extremely long blooming period. Each flower, up to 4.25 in. wide (11 cm), typically lasts at least 16 hrs (extended blooms) but no more than 24 hours, opening up in the morning and withering during the forthcoming night, possibly replaced by another one on the same scape (flower stalk) the next day. Blooming in early-mid summer, this early midseason tetraploid Daylily is semi-evergreen.

• Grows up to 26 in. tall (65 cm) and spreads slowly via rhizomes to 20 in. (50 cm).
